WIND-consult offers students (m/f/d) an internship in the field of wind turbine acoustics.
The internship provides insights into acoustic measurements, data evaluation and prediction methods within the wind energy sector,
and can serve as a basis for a subsequent Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis topic.

Your Tasks during the Internship
- Assistance with acoustic measurements on wind turbines as a measurement assistant
- Support in the configuration and installation of measurement technology
- Data evaluation and statistical investigations
- Further development and programming of evaluation methods
- Collaboration on acoustic and shadow flicker predictions
Timeline & Duration
- Immediate start available
- Minimum duration: 3 months
- A subsequent Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis topic can be derived from the internship
Your Profile
- Prior knowledge or studies in the field of acoustics, measurement technology, physics, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline
- Interest in data acquisition and evaluation, statistics, as well as the configuration and installation of measurement technology
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel
- Programming skills, for example VBA, Python or MATLAB
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Valid driving licence (at least category B)
- A dedicated and proactive approach to tasks
