Accreditations and Memberships
Accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
WIND-consult has been accredited as a testing laboratory since 1996. Since 2024, the company has additionally been accredited as an inspection body.
MEASNET
WIND-consult has been an associate member of MEASNET since 2002. Compliance with quality criteria has been confirmed for mechanical loads, acoustic noise, site assessment and power performance curves.
FGW Conformity
WIND-consult has been a member of the German Federation of Wind Power and Other Renewable Energies (FGW e.V.) since 1991 and actively participates in several expert committees. Power curve and power quality measurements are carried out in accordance with FGW conformity criteria.
IECRE Conformity
WIND-consult has been approved to operate under the rules of the IECRE system since 2017. This covers power performance measurement, mechanical load measurement, anemometer calibration and, since 2019, acoustic noise.
Measurement Body under §29b BImSchG
WIND-consult is an officially notified measurement body for acoustic noise under §29b of the German Federal Immission Control Act.
Grid Connection & Power Quality
For power quality measurements, a cooperation agreement has been in place with windtest grevenbroich GmbH since 2014. This allows WIND-consult to access mobile test containers for voltage dip (LVRT) testing.
Denmark
WIND-consult is officially approved for the measurement of power performance curves and acoustic noise emissions on wind turbines according to Danish guidelines.
BWE Advisory Board of Experts
Periodic and technical inspections are performed in accordance with the quality criteria of the Advisory Board of Experts of the German Wind Energy Association (BWE e.V.).
BWE Wind Consultants Advisory Board
The assessment of wind potential and energy yields is carried out in compliance with the minimum standards for wind expert assessments defined by the BWE Wind Consultants Advisory Board.
Former Accreditation for Flow Measurement Quantities
From October 2007 to March 2018, WIND-consult was accredited for calibrations in the field of flow measurement quantities. This service has been outsourced to Ammonit-Wind-Tunnel GmbH.
