WIND-consult offers students (m/f/d) an internship in the field of wind resource and energy yield.
The internship provides insights into the assessment of wind resource, energy yield, turbulence and statistical calculation methods,
and can serve as a basis for a subsequent Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis topic.

Your Tasks during the Internship
- Analysis of models for determining wind resource and energy yield, for example CFD
- Investigation of calculation methods for turbulence
- Studies on the use of reanalysis data in energy yield calculations
- Evaluation of statistical procedures and methods
Timeline & Duration
- Immediate start available
- Minimum duration: 3 months
- A subsequent Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis topic can be derived from the internship
Your Profile
- Prior knowledge or studies in the field of meteorology, physics, geosciences or a comparable discipline
- Interest in statistical analysis and evaluation
- Interest in calculations using standard and modelling software
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Knowledge of VBA or XML is an advantage
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Valid driving licence (at least category B)
- A dedicated and proactive approach to tasks
